Good morning, afternoon, and evening!

We're doing some database and other light server maintenance this weekend (upgrading the version of MySQL we use in particular, but also probably doing some CDN work.)

I expect all of this to be pretty invisible except for some small "couple of minute" blips as we switch between machines, but there's a chance you will notice something untoward. I'll keep an eye on comments as per usual.

I read some more of No Body No Crime by Tess Sharpe. It's fine? Just not really holding my attention atm.
Ficwise, still reading VegasPete. Currently reading If You Had Something to Lose by raelle , an over 500k word epic that is so far very good.

Watching

The roommate and I finished Vice Versa. Kind of an insane show with the universe hopping and everything with that worldbuilding, but I enjoyed it a lot!
The roommate and I started watching Bad Buddy. Or, well, resumed watching since we'd watched the first episode a month or two ago before realizing we needed a sub to watch the rest. It's cute!
We watched the latest episode of Revamp the Undead Story with the best friend. And actually got to see Dunk this time! He makes a very hot vampire lol Super excited for the last episode next week but also can't believe it's almost over.
We watched the latest episode of That Summer with the best friend. Such a feel good show, even with the political threats finally starting to emerge. Honestly can't wait for that to happen though, I'm really looking forward to more Gawin.
Since we finished a show and thus have an extra hour in our Monday nights, we started watching Khemjira with the best friend. Super good first episode! Very spooky and intriguing.
I watched Slingshot, a scifi movie about a mission to... Titan, I think? Some outer planet moon. Very interesting!
The roommate and I continue to struggle with watching AEW lol We bought the PPV on Saturday and ended up going to bed before the last two matches bc it was late and we didn't care that much. Today, watched like half an hour of Dynamite before deciding we were bored. When will wrestling be fun again...

Listening

Still t-pop. Lykn put out a new album so I've been listening to a lot of that.

Writing

I had some really good writing days (almost 4k in two days!) and completed two more fics for my ficinabox assignment :)

DW is seeing some issues due to today's Amazon outage. For right now it looks like the site is loading, but it may be slow. Some of our processes like notifications and journal search don't appear to be running and can't be started due to rate limiting or capacity issues. DW could go down later if Amazon isn't able to improve things soon, but our services should return to normal when Amazon has cleared up the outage.

Edit: all services are running as of 16:12 CDT, but there is definitely still a backlog of notifications to get through.

Edit 2: and at 18:20 CDT everything's been running normally for about the last hour.

Reading

I read week 2 of The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. I'm doing ok with keeping up with it this go around.
I started reading No Body No Crime by Tess Sharpe. Idk if I'm feeling it. Will likely give it a bit more time before I give up on it, but I just don't know that I'm in the mood for a thriller/mystery atm.
Ficwise, I'm still on VegasPete. Currently reading Black Velvet by kerrikins , which has been great so far.

Watching

The roommate and I finished A Boss and a Babe. Pretty good! I don't love a workplace drama, but I did love seeing so much of Mike <3
The roommate and I watched My Love Mix-Up! Very cute show :) My love for Fourth continues to grow!

We watched the last few episodes of Dead Friend Forever - DFF with the best friend. It ended up being so fucking miserable in like every single way. God, what a terrible watching experience for all of us, but me in particular in some spots lol Would not recommend unless you like a show about nothing good happening ever to anyone...
I rewatched Underwater with the best friend for research purposes (for her, not me lol). Still a very good movie!

I finished my crossworks assignment! I think it turned out ok.
