Wednesday What I'm...
Reading
- I DNF'd You Had Me at Happy Hour by Timothy Janovsky. I was gonna try to give it a little more time, but I made it one page before one of the characters called the prostate the "p-spot", and that was just too much for me apparently lol
- I read more of The Silver Branch by Rosemary Sutcliff. Almost finished!
- Ficwise, still on VegasPete. It's a very good, very horny time over there! I just finished reading long story short, it was always you by
hawkshadow , which was a lot of angsty fun.
- The roommate and I finished We Are. Really loved it, I think it's in my top 3 Thai BL series now. So many good relationship dynamics, both romantic and platonic! Already loved PondPhuwin of course, but we're definitely going to be looking to watch more with some of the other actors.
- The roommate and I decided on a slightly more serious vibe for our next show, so we started The Heart Killers. Enjoying it so far! Except for how we are not really liking the main love interest, but I'm hoping that'll change soon.
- The best friend really wanted to watch a series with us again, but she hasn't been able to keep up with our pace lol So! We are watching KinnPorsche again, this time with the best friend on voice chat so we can all squee about it :D
- Been watching a lot of youtube this week as well. Specifically LittleBIGworld with Pond Phuwin, which is basically a little travel show with Pond and Phuwin, two of the roommate and I's favorite Thai actors. It's so cute! Also been watching some various other videos with Pond and Phuwin, as well as the other member's of Pond's band Jasp.er.
- AEW not quite as usual. The roommate and I were out of town Saturday, so we missed Collision and haven't caught up with all of it yet lol
- I saw a bit of TX2 on an instagram reel and was curious, so I listened to a bit of their music. It was ok.
- Listened to some of Chepang, which is a band I think frenzy mentioned recently. Also ok.
- I watched the (only?) two music videos from Jasp.er. Very fun :)
- Nothing. Did write up a couple of KinnPorsche fic ideas, but no actual writing.

- I started reading You Had Me at Happy Hour by Timothy Janovsky. I'm like halfway through and not really enjoying it, so it's likely to be a DNF. There's just so much therapy speak and the characters are not interesting enough to make up for it.
- I started reading The Silver Branch by Rosemary Sutcliff (The Dolphin Ring Cycle #2). Feeling kind of meh about it but I also haven't gotten very far. Just not feeling any books at the moment :/
- I started reading The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. I've seen so much about it online and have been meaning to read it for ages. Trying to decide if I want to jump in with the tasks or wait until after my trip to Texas next week.
- Ficwise, I'm going hard for VegasPete. Nothing much spectacular so far, but some good fics! Currently I'm reading I Want to Be the Place You Call Home (A VegasPete Omegaverse) by
- The roommate and I finished KinnPorsche! So wild! So good! Even more obsessed with Vegas now, as well as his actor, Bible. Definitely my favorite of the Thai BLs we've watched so far :D
- The roommate wanted some lighter watching, so we watched Fish Upon the Sky, which has the same leads as Never Let Me Go. A very silly, kind of stupid show, but fun.
- Since we were enjoying those lead actors so much, the roommate and I decided to just finish things off and watch their third show together, We Are. We're about halfway through and it's been very cute!
- AEW as usual. I'm a bit bored with it at the moment tbh. Except for everything happening with Kyle Fletcher, love him.
- I've listened to a couple fanmixes linked in fics I'm reading, nothing particularly interesting.
- I wrote a couple of poems. Which doesn't sound like much, and isn't really, but that little bit has already put me over halfway to my wordcount from all of last month. July was rough...
