Reading

I DNF'd In an Absent Dream by Seanan McGuire. I was just so bored with it and it seemed like any interesting parts were just vague mentions. Thankfully this one isn't really necessary for reading any of the rest of the series as far as I can tell, so I'll just move on to the next one.
I finished The Silver Branch by Rosemary Sutcliff. Not a bad book, but really didn't catch my interest as much as I'd hoped. Especially in comparison to the first book in the series, The Eagle of the Ninth, though much of that may be fondness for the movie. Anyway, don't think I'll be continuing with this series.
I finished Clown in a Cornfield 2: Frendo Lives by Adam Cesare. Not as good as the first, but still very enjoyable! Looking forward to the next (and final!) book.
I read Newt's Emerald by Garth Nix. Cute and fun! A good chill read while traveling.
Ficwise, unsurprisingly, I'm still on VegasPete. Currently reading say yes to heaven, say yes to me by biuskarma and raykive , which is a very sweet and very, very smutty series.

Watching

The roommate and I are still on The Heart Killers after having to take a pause while I was out of work. We're over halfway and things are getting very exciting. Still not crazy about Kant, but how much I love Fadel/Style more than makes up for it lol
Continued rewatching KinnPorsche with the best friend. We hung out in person on Monday and spent quite a bit of the day watching (while voice chatting the roommate of course).
Watched a lot of youtube over the weekend. Specifically various tiktok compilations of my favorite Thai actors/pairings being cute, since I wasn't home to be watching any shows. Extra glad I'm not on tiktok bc all the sound bites are annoying as fuck, but they do have a lot of good stuff about the boys! It kept me sane over the weekend at least lol
No AEW this past week because I was out of town Saturday and Wednesday the roommate and I decided to continue with The Heart Killers instead of pausing for wrestling lol Lots to catch up on now, especially before the PPV on Sunday.

I guess I'm getting into t-pop now?? Been rewatching/relistening to JASP.ER's songs, as well as music videos from a couple other Thai actors I like. Surprising, but it's been a good time!
Also loving the song Charm from the band LYKN, which my faves Pond and Joong featured on.

I DNF'd You Had Me at Happy Hour by Timothy Janovsky. I was gonna try to give it a little more time, but I made it one page before one of the characters called the prostate the "p-spot", and that was just too much for me apparently lol
I read more of The Silver Branch by Rosemary Sutcliff. Almost finished!
Ficwise, still on VegasPete. It's a very good, very horny time over there! I just finished reading long story short, it was always you by hawkshadow , which was a lot of angsty fun.

Watching

The roommate and I finished We Are. Really loved it, I think it's in my top 3 Thai BL series now. So many good relationship dynamics, both romantic and platonic! Already loved PondPhuwin of course, but we're definitely going to be looking to watch more with some of the other actors.
The roommate and I decided on a slightly more serious vibe for our next show, so we started The Heart Killers. Enjoying it so far! Except for how we are not really liking the main love interest, but I'm hoping that'll change soon.
The best friend really wanted to watch a series with us again, but she hasn't been able to keep up with our pace lol So! We are watching KinnPorsche again, this time with the best friend on voice chat so we can all squee about it :D
Been watching a lot of youtube this week as well. Specifically LittleBIGworld with Pond Phuwin, which is basically a little travel show with Pond and Phuwin, two of the roommate and I's favorite Thai actors. It's so cute! Also been watching some various other videos with Pond and Phuwin, as well as the other member's of Pond's band Jasp.er.
AEW not quite as usual. The roommate and I were out of town Saturday, so we missed Collision and haven't caught up with all of it yet lol

I saw a bit of TX2 on an instagram reel and was curious, so I listened to a bit of their music. It was ok.
Listened to some of Chepang, which is a band I think frenzy mentioned recently. Also ok.
I watched the (only?) two music videos from Jasp.er. Very fun :)
